62 Impala Wagon, 502/502, 700R4, Billet Specialties Wheels.

This 1962 Impala wagon belongs to the owner of Billet Specialties. The car was started at another shop and brought to us painted and needing assembled. Between the frame rails lives a 502/502 GM crate motor loaded with Billet Specialties accessories. The 502 is backed by a 700R4 trans that is connected to a complete Currie 9" rear end housing.
Stopping power comes from Corvette C5 calipers and rotors with a ABS electric power brake booster unit. Front suspension consists of Global West tubular control arms with QA1 Coil over shocks and a Global West sway bar. Rear suspension is running Ride Tech air bags to keep it sitting low and level. All of the trim on the car has been chrome plated to really make it stand out against the beautiful black paint. Of course the car rides on Billet Specialties 19" and 20" Legacy IIs..
On the inside we made a custom bezel to house the Classic Instruments gauges and the Alpine radio. We also installed a high powered audio system to turn the wagon in to a concert hall! With the power of the 502 and the updated suspension this is one hot hauler!
